As the name suggests, the wood type UT has a shape similar to wood, but is shorter than the FW and has a smaller head volume. It is easier to get a flight distance than an iron, and it is easier to raise the ball than an iron.
The iron type has a shape and performance similar to hollow structure irons. It is easier to get a flight distance than a long iron and the ball is easier to rise.
For this reason, the iron-type UT is a club purchased by golfers who originally used long irons, but want a little easier, longer distance, and more accurate aiming at the green from a distance of around 200 yards or more.
Performance:
The shape of the iron-type UT is very similar to that of an iron, but the UT is designed to launch the ball easier than a long iron and to increase carry. The structure of the head is in which the inside is hollow. As a result, the center of gravity is deeper than long irons, making it easier to achieve solid contact and launch the ball. It also offers a certain degree of workability, so it is the best club for golfers who can hit long irons and have a high trajectory, and can hit the ball vertically and horizontally.
