This special 8 piece (3-PW) PR-101A forged iron set comes specially boxed and will be limited to only 100 sets globally
The PR-101A forged iron was developed together with Mr. Reed based on his needs as a top pro. Mr. Reed approached grindworks last year about creating iron that would allow him to knock down shots from any distance without worrying about ballooning or loss of direction. Using soft S20C forging to enhance feel and spin, we created a stepped design for the Iron which places a focus on stability and control by raising the center of gravity height. This allows Mr. Reed to attack the pin with a more penetrating shot and heavier spin resulting in shots closer the pin
Premium S20C soft carbon steel forging and a finish in half satin NiCr plating results in a more pure feel and more bite on the ball . A mix of clean and modern aesthetics will appeal to a wide variety of golfers looking for an iron that focuses on feel, stability and shot making
The Limited Edition grindworks x Patrick Reed PR-101A irons are shafted with N.S.PRO MODUS3 TOUR 105 steel shafts which feature a smooth bend profile and feel thanks to a stiffer tip and slightly softer mid section. The mid spin and mid flight characteristics of the shaft pair well with the head in creating a stable and powerful trajectory. The slightly lighter weight (106.5g) allows more players to play this iron, light enough for the amateur golfer to create more speed and distance by allowing them to load and feel the shaft, yet stable enough for the stronger player to produce stronger and consistent shots. An all around shaft for a premium forged performance iron.
