The PING G440 K HL (High Launch) build is specifically designed for slow-to-moderate swing speeds. Custom-engineered with a lighter head weight, shaft, and grip than the standard offering, the HL's reduced weight creates more swing and ball speed, yielding consistently higher-launching, longer-carrying shots.

The G440 K HL's exceptional speed, stability, and forgiveness dynamics are the byproduct of its Dual Carbonfly Wrap and Free-Hosel technologies. These innovative design elements create crucial weight savings in the sole, crown, and hosel regions, allowing PING's engineers to optimally redistribute weight to the head's perimeter, including the adjustable back weight. Consequently, the G440 K HL boasts a lower and deeper center of gravity than its predecessor, resulting in faster ball speed and more MOI and forgiveness. As an added benefit, Free-Hosel technology also increases flexion in the heel section of the face, helping retain ball speed on mishits struck toward the heel.
PING invested serious time into the G440 K HL's sound and feel as well, developing a composite crown bridge and sole ribs to dampen vibrations and ensure a muted yet powerful impact experience.
