Using the strong and flexible new X37 material, Yamaha also improved the responsiveness of the sole. At just 1.1mm thick, the precisely crafted sole allows for more flex, particularly at the lower part of the face where most golfers strike the ball. This means even faster ball speeds and better performance on every hit.

For those who crave distance, the tungsten weighting in the back of the sole pushes the center of gravity lower and deeper. This results in towering, high-flying shots that travel farther than ever before.
